Hi, I'm Scott and I'm what you might call a fan of the TMBG. Are they my favorite band? Probably most of the time, though when I'm on a Beatles kick, my answer would probably be different. But whatever. Anyway, I've been a fan ever since early 2006 or so, when a friend of mine introduced me. My first tastes of TMBG were the HomeStar Runner video for Experimental Film and a bunch of the Venue Songs videos. I was hooked. I first loved The Spine, then Flood, Mink Car, John Henry and on and on over the last (not so) few years. Anyway, I've followed them ever since. I'm not big on collecting physical copies of things; all I own is one of their creepy monsters deck of cards, some random IFC swag, and a signed copy of Glean. But I've seen them 7 times now, and intend to continue seeing them whenever they're around and I can swing it.
