Recent News March 17, 2025 Due to a recent illness in the band, They Might Be Giants are postponing seven shows that were scheduled for March 2025. More details are available here. March 10, 2025 In addition to playing two shows on last week's JoCo Cruise, John & John were interviewed on stage by comedian Paul F. Tompkins and audience members at a Q&A event, which can be seen on YouTube. February 26, 2025 In advance of the band's Florida shows, John Flansburgh was interviewed by the St. Pete Catalyst, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay and an audio interview for the Doc G Show. February 6, 2025 John Flansburgh was interviewed by WMNF’s Katarina Lauver to promote their upcoming shows in Florida. Watch here. January 2, 2025 This Might Be A Wiki has launched a Discord chat server to discuss the wiki and all things They Might Be Giants. December 17, 2024 John Linnell's cover of Wazmo Nariz's 1978 song "Tele-Tele-Telephone" is now available on streaming and Bandcamp! This track is part of Michael Hearst's 80 from the 80s project. December 13, 2024 To promote the band's upcoming Boston shows, John Flansburgh was interviewed by The Boston Globe and John Linnell was interviewed by WBUR. December 10, 2024 John Flansburgh has been interviewed on WGBH's The Culture Show (starting at 16:30), promoting the band's upcoming shows in Boston. November 21, 2024 John Flansburgh has appeared on the Talkhouse podcast, in conversation with musician Matthew Caws of Nada Surf. Flansburgh has also given an interview with The Creative Independent, and Danny Weinkauf is featured on the new single by The Davenports, "The Annabellas Of The World". November 19, 2024 A new vinyl compilation, The Spine Surfs Alone: Rarities 1998-2005, has been announced and features 21 tracks not previously released on LP. Purchase it on the TMBG Shop. November 15, 2024 John Flansburgh and John Linnell have recorded interviews (which will air at 9 AM CT and 1 PM CT respectively) for today's They Might Be Playing They Might Be Giants 12-hour radio show on KMSU. November 11, 2024 John Flansburgh spoke to Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music about TMBG's UK tour. November 3, 2024 John Linnell spoke to Adam Rosser on BBC Radio 5 Live about TMBG's UK tour here, and Spin has published a new retrospective interview about TMBG here.
