This is Fingertips song #19.
In concert, Flansburgh often adds NKOTB-like lyrics between the main lines of the song. "Girl you know it's true / H-E-A-R-T attack to you, girl / And if I should die before we freak / Know that I will always love you".
In concert, when performing Fingertips, Linnell sometimes acts as if he's having a heart attack. Everybody laughs and Flans says "Don't laugh, he really is having a heart attack!"
Although TMBG only started performing Fingertips in its entirety in 2000, this vignette was being played separately as early as 1992.
