Trivia/Info

  • This song's only live performance was on September 28, 2003 at Joe's Pub, New York, NY, nine months before its studio release. The live version was extremely different from the studio version, with a slow, sinister tone and a tuba playing the bass line, and John Flansburgh singing the lead vocal.
  • The first line ("you to me...") spoofs the opening line of Concrete and Clay, a Sixties pop hit that TMBG covered for Dial-A-Song.
