They Might Be Giants attended JoCo Cruise 2019 and performed a concert onboard two days prior. During this show, many cruise guests including John Flansburgh performed together for the Friday night concert, selecting songs that honored artists who had passed in the previous year.
As a tribute to Stan Lee who had passed in November 2018, Flansburgh and his wife Robin Goldwasser sang the theme from the 1967 cartoon series Spider-Man, with a backing band featuring Jonathan Coulton, Marty Beller, Paul & Storm and others.
