Trivia/Info

  • This rough mix shares many of the same elements as the final album version, but features a few key differences in mixing:
    • The drum sounds come from a Yamaha RX11 drum machine. These were later replaced with sounds from an Alesis HR-16. The most noticeable difference is the bass drum, which is significantly quieter in this mix compared to the final song.
    • The hi-hats are panned to the center rather than to the right.
    • The lead vocal track has a distinct phaser effect on it.
    • The overall mix contains noticeably more reverb.
