Brainstorming

It's just Linnell struggling to come with ideas for a new song... or maybe it's not. AnaNgInASpaceSuit (talk) 16:27, 9 November 2021 (EST)

Wait, actually, yeah, no.
Just kidding, I think that's definitely the genesis of the song. At some point, Linnell realized he could make a song out of his struggle and hardly anyone would bat an eyelash. Just look at the random non-sequiturs in the latter part of the song ("self-enclosing whale", anyone?). In some ways, it's another side of "Right Before Showtime" (an unreleased song from 2015) and while those lyrics were formatted like multiple people speaking in a dialogue, these lyrics sound like one guy's efforts at convincing himself to commit to a topic...and failing miserably. As a concept, it's rather amusing, though I personally think it's not executed too well (like a less interesting "Definition Of Good"), but nevermind that. --MisterMe (talk) 14:50, 10 November 2021 (EST)
