Brave New World was an eight-part television mini-series that aired on ABC during the summer of 1999. The show was anchored by Ted Koppel and reported by Robert Krulwich. The overall theme of the show was an exploration of how science, technology, and new thoughts challenging our social systems are changing the world before our eyes.

They Might Be Giants composed the title theme and recorded five music video performances to underscore the subject matter of the show.

Krulwich was interviewed in Gigantic (A Tale of Two Johns) to discuss TMBG's involvement with the show and the creation of the song "All Alone". He also discussed the story behind the song "King Weed" as a bonus feature on the documentary's DVD.

The music video segments for "Older", "Dan Vs. Cog"', and "King Weed" can be found on the Gigantic DVD as bonus features and the band's YouTube channel.
