Skyline Studios was the New York City studio where TMBG's 1990 album Flood was recorded, and later where some of The Spine was recorded. According to the liner notes for Flood, the staff of Skyline performed the handclaps on the tracks "Particle Man" and "Twisting."

The facility closed in 2012, but in 2017, TMBG returned to the former site to record I Like Fun. What was once Skyline is now Reservoir Studios, renovated and co-owned by Pat Dillett, co-producer on I Like Fun and most of TMBG's albums since Factory Showroom. Skyline was in fact where the band first crossed paths with Dillett.
