Hence, I concluded that I would bestow upon They Might Be Giants the honorable title, "My Favorite Band." They have since exceeded my every expectation by making me smile at least once a day, and I can't wait to see Them live again someday. |

Hey now everybody! I'm a girl with bangs who has a birdhouse in her soul. I attended my first TMBG show this February and need another TMBG show ASAP. My favorite is Linnell, but I love Flansy too.
My fandom was first sparked in early 2008 by a scene in a television show called Pushing Daisies, a show I still love, where I first heard Birdhouse In Your Soul. (I had probably seen every episode of Malcolm in the Middle, but that was years ago. Why their greatness didn't register on my young brain back then, I don't know.) Being the huge Disney fan that I am, I was thrilled to find that they had covers of There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow and Baroque Hoedown.
