On July 28 (tomorrow), They Might Be Giants will be on Bob Edwards Weekend. It will be broadcast on WNYC at 4 PM EDT on 93.9FM (New York) and also on the WNYC website AT THAT TIME ONLY via live streaming. Looks like there's no archive, but if you have XM Satellite Radio you might be in more luck. For those not local to NYC, you can link to PRI to find a station near you.

Paper Thin Walls has an interview with John Flansburgh and Marcel Dzama about the artwork featured in The Else. The interview tells who is inside the costumes and sheds some light on the origins behind the pictures.

They Might Be Giants will be performing live tomorrow (Tuesday, July 17) in the WNYC studios for Soundcheck. The show airs daily at 2 PM EDT on 93.9FM (New York) and will also be available via audio streaming.

In a new MySpace bulletin posted today, TMBG announced that they will be playing I'm Impressed for Friday's Conan appearance. On theymightbegiants.com, a link has been posted to an interview on PopMatters.com about the making of The Else. On the TMBG Merchandise Store [1], a new T-shirt based on "The Mesopotamians" has been put up for sale (also available in a $35 bundle with The Else). In addition, tmbg.com and theymightbegiants.com have been updated with a new The Else-themed splash page.
