Rough Trade is a UK record label that is currently a subsidiary of Beggars Group. Their catalog includes primarily alternative, folk, and punk rock artists. Notable artists who've collaborated with Rough Trade include The Moldy Peaches, Butthole Surfers, The Smiths, and The Strokes.
Most of TMBG's early albums and singles were released internationally by Rough Trade, mainly in European, Australian, and Japanese markets.
