Why Are You Hitting Yourself? was a video podcast released throughout August 2012 to members of the 2012 TMBG Instant Fan Club. The podcast was hosted by The Avatars Of They. During each episode the Avatars would perform a song and a guest (usually the Green Avatar) would answer questions from "the internet" in a segment called "On the Line," which was hosted by the Blue Avatar. Blue Green Algae sponsored the podcast.
