Hello there all my possible giants and welcome to the page for one of the most acclaimed users on This Might Be A Wiki, and I can assure you my family's favorite, Everett0408! Now while I have briefly told the story of my fandom in the past, I will tell it again to save you the trouble. I have known about They Might Be Giants for a long time, but like many other people I did not know that I knew them.
Growing up, my grandparents commonly played Birdhouse In Your Soul and Istanbul (Not Constantinople), with the latter becoming somewhat of a Christmas song in our household. I also, like millions of other children, had Hot Dog! ingrained into my mind for years, although I did not enjoy it as much as other songs. I also learned about Doctor Worm when I was younger because me and my uncle coincidentally created a character by the same name, who is now referred to as "Professor Worm." At the time, I unfortunately did not appreciate the song as much as call it plagiarism.
However, one day when Birdhouse In Your Soul came on, my uncle suggested that I listen to another he knew of theirs, Spider. The way he described it sounded amusing and once I actually listened I found it very funny. After this I began to listen to more of them, and over time I began to hear more and more serious songs like They'll Need A Crane and Kiss Me, Son Of God, and now I'm here.
