Trivia/Info
- The song is a cover of the Squeeze song, from the 1979 album Cool for Cats. It was performed by John, John, and Marty live on Jonathan Ross's BBC Radio 2 programme, on June 26, 2010, in the last month of Ross's broadcast on BBC. For this performance, Flansburgh sang lead vocals with Linnell singing an uncertain harmony. However, Linnell sings lead in the studio recording.
- Flansburgh on the performance:
We were told by the producer via email that we had to "cover a song from the 80s" Of course we left out that we ourselves have many songs of our own from the 80s, but the show is a big deal so we just learned it right before the show. [1]
