- Hey, I like this page. I asked for it a while back and I am glad to see someone's risen to the challenge. I might suggest that for each "record" that we also list the true lyrics. I know it's a bit of a duplication of data, but would make for a more concise single-page read. Thanks. --SR
I used to hear "manacled shark" instead of "medical chart" in I Palindrome I. The crazy thing is it makes sense. Both a manacled shark and a medical chart could produce a random zigzag. amyloo
Where would you put the manacles, though?--Pittsburghmuggle 14:14, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
For the longest time I thought the last bit of Fingertips was "I walk alone. Darkened corridors..." instead of "I walk along darkened corridors". Anyone else make this blunder?
...my ears must be broken. In Become A Robot I thought the line went, "Here's hoping you don't harbor a penguin" instead of "Here's hoping you don't harbor a deathwish". >_< -- Kazen
- ZOMG! I haerd the same! Maybe the lyrics are wrong! >_> --Luke 15:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
I hear "A shriter's lone best charm" in the song She's an Angel. That happens a lot. Homfrog 17:42, 2 May 2006 (CDT)
I could have sworn the lyrics to Purple Toupee were: "I remember the book about Atari" when I first heard it. Pretty funny, as the era I'm pretty sure they're talking about didn't have Atari. =D --Lemita 17:56, 2 May 2006 (CDT)
Should I put all the things you guys have said on this talk page on the actual page? Or not? --Valerie 18:27, 2 May 2006 (CDT)
Yay! Now I know I'm not the only one who thinks "Egad, a base tone denotes a bad age." sounds like "You gotta be stoned to be nuts about this!" I'm not as crazy as I thought! :p --Luke 09:30, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone else here "I don't want the world, I just want your hat" in Ana Ng? - Some Guy

Removed opening
I put up an opening on this page and it's gone now. No explanation - I can't even find the edit that removed it. I don't mind someone removing it, I'm just wondering why.--Pittsburghmuggle 13:22, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
- I think this falls into the category of mis-[seen] lyric-[page]s... your opening is still at the top! :-O ~ magbatz 17:36, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't hear that wrong.
I was listening to Cloisonné as I drove to pick up my kids from their grandparents last weekend. I heard "What's a sleestack" and was like "That's gotta be a misheard lyric! Why would Flans be bringing up Land of the Lost?" I remembered to check it out today and... that's actually the lyric. Bummer. :) --Pittsburghmuggle 00:05, 12 July 2012 (EDT)
The "Major Mishearings" obsolete
If there's no complaints, I'm going to assimilate the majors into the page. It's really superfluous, considering how long the rest of the page is.--Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 12:36, 7 April 2013 (EDT)
- before you do that, i think the wiki needs to sit down and have a long discussion about how superfluous this entire page is. -Apollo (colloquia!) 12:38, 7 April 2013 (EDT)
- Ack, too late. But I think this is a fun page, still.--Pittsburghmuggle (talk) 12:44, 7 April 2013 (EDT)
anybody else think that this is the best page on the wiki?
This is my all time favorite page. It gives me life. Anyone else?--You&Me!! (talk) 13:38, 1 December 2021 (EST)
- Mine as well --⇂⇂↋ suᴉɥsuǝZ ʎɯɯᴉᒋ (talk) 15:26, 1 December 2021 (EST)
"I've turned off my hearing aid..."
Does anyone else think "You said, 'I'm gonna run you down' / I heard, 'I'm an orangutan'" might be a better epigraph? --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 22:34, 2 April 2022 (EDT)
