Trivia/Info
- This demo is sung by John Linnell, the writer of the song, instead of John Flansburgh, who sings on the final album version. This demo also uses a Yamaha RX15 drum machine instead of an Alesis HR-16, and features falsetto screaming in the instrumental break before the final chorus.
- The recording exclusively released to members of the 2024 Instant Fan Club features a slightly different mix. The vocals are slightly louder, as well as the synthesized bass, which is at level with the accordion track in the mix heard on the Frank O'Toole Show. The cowbell sound heard before the song begins is also omitted.
