Trivia/Info
- This demo is sung by Linnell, the writer of the song, instead of Flansburgh. This demo also uses a Yamaha RX11 drum machine, which was used extensively on the band's first album. There is also the inclusion of screaming in the instrumental break before the final chorus.
- The recording released to members of the 2024 Instant Fan Club features a slightly different mix. The vocals are slightly louder, as well as the synthesized bass, which is at level with the accordion track in the Frank O'Toole recording. The cowbell sound heard before the song begins is also omitted.
