Jedediah Parish

Jedediah Parish is a singer, songwriter, and organist primarily known as a solo performing artist, though early in his career he formed the band The Gravel Pit. Parish is the vocalist on the song "Decision Makers" from TMBG's Nanobots, and sang (and vamped) alongside John Flansburgh for a live performance of the song "Agent Double-0-Soul". Parish performs regularly with Loser's Lounge, and has also collaborated with Mike Viola and the Candy Butchers.[1]

John Linnell played baritone saxophone on the Gravel Pit song "Get Tangled". The Gravel Pit opened for They Might Be Giants on multiple occasions throughout 1997, and thanked the band in the linear notes of their album Silver Gorilla. Additionally, Parish himself opened up a few shows for They Might Be Giants in 2009.
