Talk:They Might Be Giants Friday Night Family Podcast

From This Might Be A Wiki

Is it just me, or do these not work for anyone else? My brother downloaded them and I'm trying to view them without downloading the in iTunes, and neither work. Please help, it's much appreciated! ^_^;--Lemita 16:42, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

A recent version of QuickTime (which is always bundled with iTunes) is required to view the videos. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 17:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone know if these puppets have been used elsewhere? They look really familiar (and awesome).

Well, they did appear in the DVDs for both the ABCs and 123s. Other than that, nuttin'. --Luke 02:14, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Gone already?[edit]

Two weeks now with no updates, unless iTunes lies to me. Could this be the end? --Luke 18:07, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Haha! The answer is NO. --Luke 03:28, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Davey Crockett?[edit]

Where's Davey Crockett? Did he fade into obscurity AGAIN? --Dunklekuh81

Is it coming back?[edit]

What's the word on whether this podcast is coming back? Last we heard it was off for the summer but we've been sad not to see it return.

The latest episode (27 August)[edit]

Where does it go? It's a Family Podcast, but it was posted as part of the other podcast and it's not Friday. Put it on both pages? Rename this page? Count it as an adult podcast episode anyway? Something else? ~ blitzente (talk) 20:59, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

yeah it's sort of a problem. i think they did it specifically to mess with us. we know they check out the wiki. we know they know we like organizing this stuff. since you're reading this anyway john, way to go, mission accomplished, do you think you could officially make it a family podcast now? thx --ant 21:05, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Johns!
I would count it as a normal podcast episode, since that's technically what it is.-- Jason DeLima - ! - 21:10, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

download links[edit]

It looks like the (download) links all lead to 404 pages, except the most recent two. Is there some other source we can replace them with, or should they all be removed? - Apollo (colloquia!) 13:27, 1 September 2011 (EDT)

Good catch. Disney must have done some housecleaning. I'd say we delete the links for now. --Duke33 13:47, 1 September 2011 (EDT)
I know this comment is over 11 years old, but all the episodes have been archived on Vimeo, and I have linked them all on the pages. Sad that Disney deleted such a great podcast, though. -- HotelDetectiveInTheFuture
