"Spent my whole life just digging up my music's shallow grave, for the one song in me and the second I just made"?

I was just thnking that Number 3 should be on there... Jade E. Beans
Agreed. It'd be cool if there was a "Number Three '07", or a "32 Footsteps '07", since that one is sort of about a number, too. Akagi 00:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Singer[edit]

Who the hell is singing this song? -CapitalQtalk ♪ 17:59, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Good question...it's gotta be in the liner notes or something, right? --J-Gatz 18:19, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
You'd think so, but it's not. The singer of "Infinity" isn't in the liner notes, either. o_O -CapitalQtalk ♪ 18:33, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Whoa...weird. From when I first heard the 30-sec previews, I wondered who sang those songs. I guess we'll never know now. There was an edit a while back to Danny Weinkauf's page that said he wrote/sang/played piano on it, but I don't know where that info came from or whether it's true. Someone said before that they thought the "Infinity" singer sounded like Steve Burns, but there was no confirmation for that either...--J-Gatz 18:56, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

I think it is Danny Weinkauf. At some points throughout the song you can kind of hear him poke through and the laugh at the end sounds a little--I mean, if he wrote it...and there's no one new mentioned in the liner notes? Danny has my vote. --Henry 00:57, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

One of the 'rules' that TMBG follows fairly consistently (I'm sure there are exceptions) is 'You write it -- you sing it'. This is the same rule the Beatles followed. Weinkauf is singing, but he appears to be doing so in the style of Leon Redbone, albeit in the tenor range. --Nehushtan 17:36, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I just wanna say that this is probably my favourite non-John song by the band in that case... --ΰΌΊπ„žπ„†β“†β“€β“”β“›βŽˆβ’Ήβ“žβ“œβ“œβ“β“–β“”π„‡ΰΌ» 00:50, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
