Talk:Pointing

From This Might Be A Wiki

I don't think ten songs out of the 1,602 songs there are pages for on the wiki is really noteworthy enough to deserve a theme. --Self Called Nowhere (talk) 20:48, 16 September 2015 (EDT)

You might be right. However, given that criteria, there's likely a bunch of other theme pages that would have to go. For instance, Beach and Creative Drought both have fewer songs than this, and some (i.e., Drums) only have maybe a handful more. So, not sure exactly how to resolve such a question... --MisterMe (talk) 20:55, 16 September 2015 (EDT)
I actually think a lot of the theme pages are unnecessary. Ant has told me there's been talk of doing an overhaul but I don't know if that's going to be happening or what. Anyway, to get back to this specific one, it really just seems like a random verb that isn't particularly notable. I just did a search for "standing" as another random verb and came up with nineteen songs, and I'm sure there are plenty more like that. Do they all need to be themes? It just seems like a slippery slope. --Self Called Nowhere (talk) 00:20, 17 September 2015 (EDT)
I think you make a valid point. However, until this future grand restructuring of the song themes takes place, and since no one else has objected, I'd like to incorporate this one into the mix. This will probably be the last one I try to create though--I agree that there probably doesn't need to be any more. --MisterMe (talk) 09:11, 24 September 2015 (EDT)
