Talk:O We

From This Might Be A Wiki

This song could be so amazing if it was full length, with real lyrics and such. --Yamfox 11:13, 30 October 2011 (EDT)

But it's special for having no fricatives, labials, plosives, or glottal stops. --Nehushtan (talk) 23:13, 4 September 2013 (EDT)

This is hardly sung by John Linnell, is it?

It is! If you do a pitch shift on it it's actually super obvious. I was really embarrassed that I didn't recognize the voice before Flansburgh announced who sang it. ^^; -- Stormer 07:52, 20 November 2011 (EST)
I assumed it was another Hannah Levine contribution. --Mbarlowm (talk) 11:26, 18 February 2014 (EST)
no, it is definitely john linnell. like stormer said, with a pitch shift down it becomes very obvious. Apollo (colloquia!) 15:36, 18 February 2014 (EST)

What horn is it?[edit]

Does anyone know if the horn played in this song is a tuba, trombone, or baritone or what? I'm really curious.

Personally, I was thinking Baritone, but I don't know for sure. The higher notes don't sound like a tuba to me. And, the low notes don't sound like a trombone. That's just my take though. --Duke33 09:40, 29 January 2013 (EST)
According to Flansburgh, it is a tuba sample. [1] --MisterMe 09:46, 19 February 2013 (EST)
