- It's been at least 10 years since TMBG has played Vancouver - long overdue. This show's crowd were very excited, rowdy and fun. The club tune, Richards, is really excellent and gets reprised with a clam-baked version in the middle. It's homage to the Cars and by the third time through the audience was singing alone to the chorus. Danny and his red pants were hidden from view by nature of a tiny stage and 20 feet of speakers placed directly in front of him. Really fun show to play and the recording came out great.
- No edits on this one except for the long crowd applause between the encores. We even left in the Spin-the-Dial, which was less then stellar - all classical, talk radio and static. Canada needs some new radio.
- While definitely in that club-loose feel, the band felt tight and fit after our week off - often it feels like we are the opposite of riding a bicycle, but this was a bicycle built for five.
