Review by Dave Anderson:
The first TMBG concert I've been to, this was the best rock show I've ever
heard. I've own most of the albums, so the songs were all very farmilliar, but
what was the most fun was hearing them live with the ever-amusing intros.
I'm convinced that the "Every thing on the sun is a gas" spoken part of 'Why Does The Sun Shine?' will keep growing longer until the song takes an hour to play ("Copper wire, aluminum wire, metal wire, metal lawn chairs, wooden lawn chairs, books..."). There were some cool changes in the regular songs--For example, Linnell broke into a chorus of 'Let It Be' during the 'Doctor Worm' bridge.
If every TMBG show is as good as this one, then... Well, then they have a lot of very good shows.
