prequel to hey mr dj[edit]

Guys I think they might be wanting a hit record. Also it’s the long awaited prequel to the dj betrayal where right now the guy is still in the dreaming of a hit before getting let down. Imightlikemen (talk) 17:28, 14 April 2026 (EDT)

bound to get back the bullet[edit]

This phrase intrigued me so I did a little research. The music industry magazine Cashbox would put a red bullet on their charts next to a song that was moving up rapidly or was perceived to have the potential to.

So: "Getting back the bullet" seems to indicate that the song had previously gone up the charts but has already started to fall and lost the bullet marker, I assume without ever hitting #1. The beleaguered band is hanging on to a thread of hope that their song will start to climb the charts again as long as it continues to be given airplay.
