Trivia/Info
- The animated music video for this song was directed by David Cowles and animated by Jeremy Galante, with some special effects being done by Shami Lang-Rinderspacher. It was produced from December 2012 to March 2013, and previewed at a show in Rochester, NY, Cowles' hometown. It was then uploaded to YouTube on March 13, 2013.
- Galante said of the artwork in a 2013 interview, "They were photos of friends, random street props, and we even snuck in things like my parents' cottage on Chautauqua Lake. I animated it in Flash and After Effects, simulating a puppet look, which is what we do for a lot of their videos."[1]
- According to the October 27, 2021 episode of This Might Be a Podcast, which featured Cowles, the body models for Flansburgh and Linnell were Cowles and his son, Clayton, respectively.
