Trivia/Info
- This song appeared on the Lincoln Sampler in 1988. However, in November 2018, Flansburgh indicated that this was never intended or planned to be on Lincoln. He described this song as "really just a throw away thing. Quite literally saying 'hello' to people who are on the radio."[1]
- The title of this song was used in the name of the TMBG cover album Hello Radio: The Songs Of They Might Be Giants.
- A totally instrumental version of this song was used as an intro at live shows on a few occasions in the late 80s and 90s, sometimes accompanied by an instrumental "Piece Of Dirt".
- The vibraphone patch and the wood bass patch both come from the Casio FZ-1 Sound Disk B, FL-B.
