From This Might Be A Wiki
Amy Sillman is a New York-based graphic artist who was born in Detroit. She illustrated the cover of the O Tannenbaum single and is listed in the thank yous for issue 6 of McSweeney's. According to John Flansburgh, a strange piece of artwork by Sillman, which was included in the magazine, was the companion to the song "She Thinks She's Edith Head", included on the accompanying CD.
She is best known for her vibrant and experimental paintings and zines, for which she has received wide-spread critical acclaim.[1] Sillman frequently exhibits her works in New York City and around the world, and is currently represented by the Gladstone Gallery.[2]
