How about putting this template somewhere on the Main Page? --Droffats 18:12, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)

That was my exact idea when I saw this template. I second it! Magbatz 19:16, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)

I was thinking this as well when I made the template, but where exactly would it fit? -CapitalQtalk ♪ 19:45, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)

I'm thinking right below the Getting Started template. --Droffats 20:24, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Wouldn't fit, the DAS template is about 40 pixels wider than the Getting Started template, and neither should be resized. I don't really think it belongs on the Main Page, anyway. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 20:29, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
What if you split the fan news section and have the DAS Status on the right (or left)? --badqueso 20:32, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Well, 1) The DAS template wouldn't fit, and 2) The fan news would be incredibly hard and annoying to read. And we're not going to incorporate that fan news thing (at least any time soon). -CapitalQtalk ♪ 20:35, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
1) The DAS template is able to change size as needed. Maybe make it 30% of that bottom row. 2) You could limit fan news to only 2 news items. --badqueso 20:41, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
I designed the DAS template with a fixed width so that everything fits neatly on one line. And, like I said, we're not doing the fan news. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 20:45, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Well then, how about nesting it in the top (or bottom) right corner of the Recent News template? --Droffats 21:06, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Less room for news, and it looks bad. I'm thinking that just adding a new line to the Site Map containing a link to Dial-A-Song among other harder-then-they-should-be-to-get-to things will be fine. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 21:12, 2 Apr 2006 (CDT)
