Talk:Problems With Liner Notes

From This Might Be A Wiki

See Talk:A Self Called Nowhere...should we add that or not? --Duke33 00:30, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

I believe we should since our general consensus is that "it" was a misprint. What about the intentionally changed lyrics for Become A Robot in the Then liners? -CapitalQtalk ♪ 00:35, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
I say yes to the inclusion of both. ~ magbatz 04:42, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

They Got Lost deliberately didn't have liner notes. Honorable mention? -curious and questioning (t) 20:33, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

In the lyrics for I Should Be Allowed To Think the line "I was the worst hope of my generation" is written "I was the best hope..." -MetalDetector

Heard vs. written lyrics[edit]

I motion that this section be moved to Misheard Lyrics. Objections?--Oldpinebox 20:10, 19 November 2011 (EST)

I don't think so. Some people think that the liner notes are wrong but some people think differently. Misheard lyrics are when they know what they heard was wrong. -- Buzzmusic100 ("Keep your voice down...")

Put Your Hand Inside This Puppet Head[edit]

I undid my edit as I relistened to the whole song and it seems "this" only happens the very first time. Or am I just mis-hearing the sibilants?

"Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head - Liner notes give the chorus lyric as 'Put your hand inside the puppet head' whereas the final line of each chorus — bar the very last iteration — is sung as 'Put your hand inside this puppet head'."

BOOK[edit]

Do lyrics from BOOK's book count? (I noticed an incorrect lyric in The Bright Side) --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 22:47, 12 November 2021 (EST)

Pink Album[edit]

I don't know if this is present on other pressings, but the lyrics sheet for the 2019 reissue of the Pink Album puts "Say your cup of tea is a wall of tombstones" instead of "trombones" on Rhythm Section Want Ad. - Jibblies108 (talk) 21:15, 29 November 2023 (EST)
