Clean Bean and I'm Just A Note[edit]

Clean Bean and I'm Just A Note on this podcast are different versions; the lyrics deviate from the ones on their pages.--tehbagel ( o ) 20:08, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure these are the only versions of those songs; and I can't make out any difference. - Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 20:14, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
I could be wrong, but I think they're just more complete versions of the songs as they actually appear in the TV episode. I always thought the versions we used to have up for download cut off in weird places. ~Drew
Whirlwind, how can you not hear a difference? Listen to I'm Just A Note and pay attention to what Flansy says the first verse he comes in, then what Brenden says on the last line. Our page on Clean Bean is missing lyrics that you hear on this podcast. --tehbagel ( o ) 20:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
OK, you may be right. Clean Bean is definitely the same recording though. The differences on I'm Just A Note may come from different sound quality of the recodings. oh, and since I didn't get the chance to buy Then yet, Weep Day is new to me. Yay!- Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 20:51, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Weep Day[edit]

As far as we have recorded Weep Day isn't on the 1985 demo tape, or any demo tape for that matter. Egregious oversight, or... what? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 21:36, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Then again, Cecil has given incorrect information on just about every podcast. I think it's supposed to be a running joke. Maybe some wikian should catalogue Cecil errors? Tutt 23:11, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

My Brown Guitar[edit]

Ah, I love XTC. This is a demo of "My Brown Guitar," which was first called "Some Lovely" and lated appeared on "Wasp Star". This is the same as the demo on "Homegrown" (the demos of Wasp Star). Fun tidbit. -Ecks

Doughty[edit]

I wish my mom were alright with Mike Doughty. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Magbatz (talkcontribs) 10:42, October 15, 2010
