Skyline Studios

From This Might Be A Wiki

Skyline Studios was a New York City recording studio that operated from 1979 until 2012.

They Might Be Giants recorded their 1990 album Flood, and later some of The Spine at Skyline Studios. According to the liner notes for Flood, the staff of Skyline performed the handclaps on the tracks "Particle Man" and "Twisting." TMBG also first met Pat Dillett at Skyline, who became the band's long-time producer.

After Skyline closed, Steve Salett and Pat Dillett renovated and reopened the space in 2016 under the name Reservoir Studios, where TMBG have recorded studio albums since, beginning with I Like Fun and most recently BOOK.
