Trivia/Info

  • One of the not-so-hidden tracks from Severe Tire Damage, this is one of Their seven spontaneous live compositions based on or inspired by the original Planet of the Apes movie series. On this track, one can hear the audience chanting either "people" or "ape", with the drums and bass underscoring the former and the keys and guitar underscoring the latter. The recording is from December 3, 1997 at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE.
  • After an eight year hiatus, a comeback occurred for several live shows for the Join Us tour from late 2011 to early 2012, and the Nanobots tour in 2013. It is likely inspired by the 2011 release of the Planet of the Apes reboot, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In reference to this, the official t-shirts for the tour featured an ape with a raised fist. A brief, second comeback occurred in one show in 2015.
