They Might Be Giants
— with Lincoln opening —
James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA
November 2, 1997
Fan Recaps and Comments:
- Lincoln killed and I got their record.
- Kumbaya and so forth were not performed entire but as snippets (prompted by Linnell?) during Spy.
- This was a good show--solid across the board. No major amazing moments, but no clunkers either. Perhaps the closing 3 songs were the best. I know that they don't "play" Exquisite Dead Guy live, but they still perform the heck out it, and then just blasted away with Till My Head Falls Off and Dig My Grave, a nice thematic ending.
