Trivia/Info
- The video was directed by David Cowles and Jeremy Galante. According to the October 27, 2021 episode of This Might Be a Podcast, which featured Cowles, this was both the last video he completed, as well as the last song done for the album. Due to how close to the deadline it was, the entire video was completed in three weeks (in comparison to the usual two to three months a video by Cowles takes) and according to Galante's LinkedIn page, was finished in February 2009. The pixel art style was specifically chosen to make animation easier, and the music style resulted in Cowles being inspired by the video for Junior Senior's song "Move Your Feet".
- Later on, Cowles and Galante would use the same pixel art style for another song, "Thinking Machine".
- At about 1:34 in the video, John and John are seen driving small cars, wearing Shriner-like hats, reminiscent of the line in "She's An Angel."
- The pop-up boxes in the video originally read "Question" and "Theory", which is technically inaccurate - a theory in science is an idea that has already been put through a lot of tests. The video was soon updated to say "Question" and "Hypothesis."
