Evolution, doh! --Nehushtan 23:03, January 31, 2006
Lol no not evolution. Hurricanes. It's actually kind of interesting, I wish they would have sung about the destruction though heh--tehbagel 12:38, 28 Apr 2006 (CDT)

Interpretation 2

To me, this really represents the end of the "classic" TMBG era. A listen to a reconstruction of Superfueled Freaksicle really reveals the jarring effect of the early-sounding Whirlpool and the sudden full-rock Ondine (or Snail Shell if you decided to listen to all of your EPs in chronological order). It's "old-TMBG" style seems exagerrated by the amatuerish vocals; it sounds like the Johns' vocals were recorded with them too far from the mic in a large, reverb-y studio (or possibly a monitor microphone mixed in instead of the vocal mic). The lyrics almost represent TMBG giving themselves permisison to make the leap from their "two men and samples" style to a full band. Just a thought. Tenniru 18:18, 7 May 2006 (CDT)
