The first They Might Be Giants song I heard was "Older" when it came free with a PC I received for Christmas in 2000. Not long after, I heard a song by them on the radio and went on a quest years later to identify it from memory. Unsurprisingly, it turned out to be "Birdhouse In Your Soul".

I'm a fan of both Johns but am particularly in awe of John Linnell's musical and songwriting abilities. While I've been playing keyboards semi-professionally for a few years, Linnell has recently inspired me to pick up the accordion, which I now play in a folk-rock band.

In 2013, I finally managed to see TMBG perform an outstanding show in London, and two more since at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds.
