Me & TMBG

I have never been to a TMBG show. I have never purchased a TMBG album. SO WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING HERE?! I first learned of They Might Be Giants from Homestarrunner.com's release of the music video for "Experimental Film". An armless white guy with no ears helped me find my favorite band... go figure. Anyways, I could NOT stop listening to the song, watching the video, showing it to people, the song was STUCK in my head! Stuck like... like... sticky things... Anyways, I got my first glimpse of They Might Be Giants. Still haven't bought an album... but I have purchased 38 songs on iTunes, I have bought the Venue Songs DVD and I 122 TMBG songs total (the other 82 songs coming from free mp3's and venue songs).

Edit Tab -My entry to the theme song contest. Didn't win, but worth reading! Well, I was published in Nickelodeon Magazine's 10th birthday issue for writing a contest winning birthday song to the tune of Yankee Doodle! I don't like to toot my own horn but... HONK!!! Wait... shouldn't it toot? Do horns toot? Rambling is my favorite sport!

K so, I'm a little uncertain about what my favorite song is. It seems like whenever I get a new one, I can't stop listening to it. But I always listen to Doctor Worm when it comes on, so I choose that as my favorite.

Why is "I'm not a real doctor but they call me Doctor Worm." my favorite lyric? I don't know how to explain it. It's just the best part of the song to hear. The harmonies are... WOW! It's definetly the part of the song that makes me feel best.
