Template talk:Babel:Fav EP
From This Might Be A Wiki
I just want to point out that a problem occurs when a EP is selected, such as The Spine Surfs Alone, and there is a song by the same name so it has to have an "(EP)" at the end to distinguish it as an EP. There is a space left at the end after the name of the EP. Examples:
![]() |
This user's favorite EP is The Statue Got Me High . |
![]() |
This user's favorite EP is Don't Let's Start . |
Is there a way to fix it? I've looked, but I can't see any way to change it. -- DidgeGuy (आ ज) 1:09, 13 September 2010
- Probably, with parser functions! I'm sure we've got it installed on the wiki. Let's see. -j2
- Let me explain what I was trying to do for those who know what they're doing: I think I was going a bit overboard. I was thinking it was dumb for the users to have to note (EP) in a babel box about EPs, so it would be easier to have it check if the EP page existed as well, and link to that if it did. But I realized that that totally breaks the image finding thing, and I haven't a clue how that works. I thought I could use the same check-if-exists thing, but that just broke it harder. I'm sure it won't be difficult if you understand the way it gropes around in the dark for those images (which, as far as I can tell, is pretty cool), I just feel weird spamming up the changelog. -j2
