Talk:Pirate Girls Nine

Now that I'm a Dad I'm probably listening to the kids stuff the most! Pirate Girls 9 is pretty darn good in my opinion. I've talked about Flans feminism before, but here it's great, because my daughter can be a pirate. Great lyrics and melody. It really stands up to repeat listens. One of the best songs they've done in this genre! (Mr Tuck)

It is very similar, and even the overall melody has a resemblance to that late-'60s/early-'70s protest song. I've asked Flans on Tumblr if there is any connection, but you never know if he'll actually confirm the connection or even respond.
