Talk:No! (Song)

From This Might Be A Wiki

"All roads lead to" is a reference to the famous ancient saying about Rome. --Nehushtan 11:33, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

The lyrics are "All NO's lead to". If you have any questions about their lyrics, I'm happy to answer. Just go on my User Talk page. -User:Flansfan
AND, I would call you an idiot, but that would be mean, so I won't. -User:Flansfan
fwiw, i believe the line is in fact a reference to "all roads lead to rome". not such an unreasonable mishearing, if it was one, as it's a fairly common adage. also, we do actually have lyrics pages for those with questions about lyrics. and by the way, it's much easier to sign posts with --~~~~, which automatically leaves a signature with a nifty timestamp. looking at the timestamp, you'll notice the original comment was left four years ago, so the original author may not take note of any personal appeals left here, at this point. -Apollo (colloquia!) 12:03, 15 December 2012 (EST)
Indeed, and I think it's fairly obvious that in a song where every other word is "no", Nehushtan was merely noting that "All no's lead to" is a likely reference to the adage "All roads lead to" - not that he was mishearing the lyric (which seems nearly impossible). And you more or less DID just call him an idiot. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 18:02, 15 December 2012 (EST)
Well, I feel bad now. I just want to say, I'm only 11 years old, and I have weird hormones that make me do stupid things sometimes, like calling people idiots. Sorry! -User:Flansfan

The reason why I asked them to write on my User Talk page, is because I just really want someone to write on it. I'm so lonely. -User:Flansfan

I'm just now noticing the brouhaha on this talk page. I offer my gratitude to Apollo, CapitalQ, and Flansfan respectively for coming to my defense and for apologizing. Peace. --Nehushtan (talk) 00:05, 5 August 2019 (EDT)
