From This Might Be A Wiki

Another song?[edit]

I was just watching Malcolm In The Middle and it was the episode where Lois has the flu and she thinks it's still the week end, do you guys know what I'm talking about? Well, towards the end there was a song that played and the vocals, I could swear they were Linnell. I don't know if it was the part where they either are throwing the stuff down a hill and eating candy bars or the part where they're on the roof. I think it was the former, but this particular episode wasn't listed. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, do you know the song or at least the name of the episode? --Sparkling_Omelets

Was it Spiraling Shape? It sounds like you're describing the episode that has Spiraling Shape. -Apollo. 00:57, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
I don't think it was, but that's a possibility. -Sparkling_Omelets 02:21, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure? Because that's exactly what happens in "Smunday." The dad bought a Porsche, no? Have another listen to Spiraling Shape and see if you can draw any parallels. If not, though, perhaps I'm just being bothersome. -Apollo. 02:27, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Wait, no. I just listened to it. It is. Oopsies. --Sparkling_Omelets 02:32, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

John F.?![edit]

This have been driving me crazy: In the episode "Traffic Jam", season 2 episode 1, Lois is talking to a man over the phone. This man sounds exactly like John Flansburgh! Does anybody know if it really is him? Or does it just sound like him? Or doesn't it even sound like him?

More songs[edit]

  • Recently a sample version of album Music From Malcolm In The Middle (Promo) was uploaded and I can confirm Mysterion is played on Shame when Francis and Stanley seek the slides at the Commandant Spangler´s office. Probably the theme is also played on Red Dress and Francis Escape, but i'm not sure.
  • Monster is played on Krelboyne Picnic when the picnic becomes a chaos.
  • Four Track Mind is also played on The Bots and Bees when Craig is trying to talk with Hal.
  • Cut The Strings can be heard also on Smunday when the boys are upset with Francis in the kitchen.
  • Is not a song by They Might Be Giants but, a underscore called Yeah Ha performed by Elegant Too and produced by They Might Be Giants is played on Cheerleader during the Reese´s flashback. Here the proof: http://www.eleganttoo.com/film-tv/malcolm-in-the-middle/
  • According with this forum (https://archive.today/S4HFO) the song Uke Down is played on the serie, Someone can confirm this?.
  • Finally the patter music (whistle tune) on the Podcasts 10A and 56 can be heard at the episodes Sleepover and Therapy.
