Talk:Letters Of The Alphabet
From This Might Be A Wiki
a million years ago, on tmbg.org, there used to be a wav of John L. saying the entire alphabet as a word... just like Big Bird.
Searches on this wiki have returned me nothing.
Does anyone know if this file still exists or is available anywhere? (I don't imagine asking is taboo, as it was once publicly posted... but if I've broken a law, I will gladly retract this post)
Why is I Palindrome I on this list? There's nothing to do with letters in the song, unless I'm missing something huge here. --ΰΌΊππββ€ββββΉββββββπΰΌ» 18:50, 22 August 2011 (EDT)
- I hope it's not referring to the letter "i". If anything, I would say that it's because palindromes are elements of letter-play. I think on that basis, including it almost makes sense, but perhaps this list is more about mentioning particular letters or the alphabet itself. -Apollo (colloquia!) 18:56, 22 August 2011 (EDT)
- But the song (aside from Flans' backing vocals) doesn't contain any true palindromes though, so there's no letter play involved, word palindromes are surely word play, not letter play? βx --ΰΌΊππββ€ββββΉββββββπΰΌ» 19:00, 22 August 2011 (EDT)
- Well, yes, but I think the fact that it mentions palindromes. And I think the flansvocals count too! -Apollo (colloquia!) 19:18, 22 August 2011 (EDT)
- Hmm, well you do have a point... but I still think it's a bit of a stretch having it as a central theme rather than an brief/honourable mention personally βx --ΰΌΊππββ€ββββΉββββββπΰΌ» 19:30, 22 August 2011 (EDT)
