Talk:Gender Issues

From This Might Be A Wiki

Re SEXXY: The lyric is "She wants to be your man". I don't disagree that this song is open to interpretation about gender issues -- but this one could very easily also be about a little girl fantasizing that she's a detective/spy.

I feel like removing The Long Grift and Women And Men unless I'm given a good reason for them to stay (Grift doesn't bring up gender period and treats homosexuality without any hint of bringing up gender roles or issues; in Women and Men that phrase is simply used to convey "people" coming to colonize). Also, I trust it's right, but perhaps a line of explanation would be nice for Hotel Detective(s). ~ magbatz 08:07, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Someone explain how that line in Prevenge has anything to do with gender issues to me. --DoubleDenial (talk) 16:57, 21 May 2019 (EDT)

And how And Mom And Kid is about gender issues. --DoubleDenial (talk) 19:27, 26 May 2019 (EDT)
Alright, maybe "gender roles", but still, really? I'd hardly call saying random family roles discussing "gender issues".--DoubleDenial (talk) 19:28, 26 May 2019 (EDT)

Dang, I know I got gender issues.

Define "gender issues"[edit]

How are songs like Hotel Detective gender issues? --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 19:25, 21 June 2022 (EDT)

the whole page needs a lot of attention. i'm not even sure it needs to exist. --ant 20:22, 21 June 2022 (EDT)
