Talk:Eyeball (Elegant Too Remix)

From This Might Be A Wiki

I gotta be honest, this remix does not sound that radically different from the main song. Considering what they did to turn the original somewhat ordinary "I've Got a Fang" into something so loopy and crazy, this comes across as a bit of a disappointment. --MisterMe (talk) 08:27, 15 January 2026 (EST)

I think the word remix can carry certain expectations, but sometimes it can mean something even more subtle than this, like Beatles reissue boxes where "remix" just means a stereo rebalance. In the case of this song, I think we're really just hearing how the Elegant Too would've approached producing the track in the studio based on their impulses, and I find it a refreshing listen and a cool experiment letting them try. Thinking of it like a radio edit more than a remix may help. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 09:18, 15 January 2026 (EST)

Have to agree with the Capital Q review. I get the feeling they thought: god they're not doing the chopped guitar chords again! It's more of a de-mix than a remix. I think the only Giants remix I've ever really preferred to the original is the World's Address (Joshua Fried Remix) but this is a good one too. I can see why MisterMe was disappointed as it's not a radical take, but I guess they did what they wanted to do. (Mr Tuck)
