I don't love this pattern, but I think the editor who put 1989 there is using it to mean it's "from 1989 or earlier", as the earliest audio we have of the song is a DAS off-phone recording made that year. (Of course, it could be many years older, and the same pertains to implied years we have on dozens of DAS tracks on TMBW.) -CapitalQ ♫ talk ♪ 11:43, 21 November 2024 (EST)

someone added 1994 because of Power of Dial A Song. I changed it to 1989 because of there being an earlier dated recording. Changing it back to the year being unknown would probably make more sense. - Hailey821 (talk) 12:21, 21 November 2024 (EST)
