Talk:Convergence 1

From This Might Be A Wiki

User's Guide says there's a Convergence #1 and Convergence #2. Should a page be made or anything? Also, should pages be made for all the songs in that list that aren't on the wiki, even if we don't have any information on them (a la Beatles And Bugs)? -- DidgeGuy (आ ज) 20:20, August 7 2011 (UTC)

same with show pages, there's not much point in making pages that don't impart significant amounts of information. since all we can really say about them is that, for instance, they're mentioned in the liners or the shirt, that info can go on other pages (like the songs without pages page). all imo. --ant 16:44, 7 August 2011 (EDT)
addendum: convergence 2 seems to redirect to Girls In Their Turning. so that's one mystery solved. (though no explanation provided). --ant 16:47, 7 August 2011 (EDT)
So, upon investigating further my McSweeney's Issue #6, near the end of the book, more info about the music is included.

"Track 39: "Convergence #2" created by They Might Be Giants from vocal samples of Robin "Goldie" Goldwasser." and "Track 44: "Convergence (To A Text By Ad Reinhardt)" is excerpted from Free Cooperation's "Our Master's Voice" LP; recorded in Warsaw in 1985...."
