Talk:Climbing The Walls

From This Might Be A Wiki

I love this song, my favourite on The Else Jade

I hafto say I love this song and it sounds like Why Must I B Sad from JH to me. It might just be the hardecorre sax. Neill

Definitely has elements of "Why Must I Be Sad!" - esp. check out the last few notes of the song. This can't be lost on the Johns. --Kenr 02:07, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Piano...[edit]

Is it just me, or does the piano part during the "Too much junk..." sound a lot like the verses to Glasgow's Venue Song, "The Garage"?

try this![edit]

listen to this song backwards it is even better! i tried it after listening to "on earth my nina" which is "thunderbird" backwards it sounds amazing and i bet linnel could easily make a song out of it as well lol

That was actually pretty cool. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 02:52, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
I reversed it, and I heard this (starting, or in this case, ending, with "The deep end, the deep end"):

Swallow with your mouth
Smash with your eyes
Swallow with your mouth
Smash with your eyes
Swallow with your mouth
Smash with your eyes
Swallow with your mouth
Smash with your eyes
at least for a second
I'm a musician
and I'm an axe swinger
I wished not, oh and...

Swallow with your mouth
Smash with your eyes
My sister ate
a willow
Strong with the Magma
Aww, fuck this
Stroll for Missing
A sniper!
Slacky is yelling "Red"
so good, since the Wall
is both good, but is the same
Oh and, So, it's good
The Hungry Leaper Diss
is an extra bit
is an extra bit
is an extra bit
when some one's lip looks small
Look Positively
Slap it up
Slap it up

Eh?[edit]

Am I the only one that doesn't like this song that much? --ZippZapp 23:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not a huge fan, and it's far from my favorite on the album, but I do recognize that the song is pretty damn good. --! 04:35, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Saxophone?[edit]

Is it just me wishfully hearing this, or is there a really low pitched (bari? bass?) saxophone somewhere in this song? --Lemita 02:51, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, definitely. The credits should reflect this.
Thanks. Good point. --Lemita 23:38, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

The Metamorphosis?[edit]

I listened to this recently and it reminded me of "The Metamorphosis" bye Franz Kafka. I was just wondering if anyone else thought the same thing.
