Fan Recaps and Comments:
A review of the show by Martin Aston
New Musical Express, Jan. 16, 1988:
New York's Giants will probably be awarded 1987's Pantomime award for their efforts, but this boy duo are made up of sterner, irony-starched stuff altogether. They spray this year's most eclectic of crazed pop signature tunes with a bashed guitar, accordion and beatbox tapes.Their brilliant grasp of worldly pop iconography is far more a celebration of the sheer glee of three decades of classic moves than any layered parody of pop cliches -- easily confused when they perform illustrative hand signals, folk jogs and falling over.
Working overtime -- they'll scream "awesome guitar solo" where the mad axework should go, as the audience to "scream as if they're in hell" and then slot in the 'awesome' solo to an accordion polka knees-up.
