Fan Recaps and Comments:

This show was presented by the independent record label Sartoris.[1] One of the other acts on the bill, Sync 66, was the stage name of Chris Cunningham, who at the time lived in the same apartment building as John Linnell.[2] Cunningham was a member of the band Five Graves To Cairo, and their 1984 EP "Call To Prayer" was Sartoris' only release. It is unclear whether They Might Be Giants had any plans to sign with Sartoris, or whether their appearance at this show was just due to their connection with Cunningham.
